Preventative Advice & Support

As an Animal Behaviour Technician Leigh-Ann is the perfect person to help guide you through the common problems you and your dog may face.
Perhaps you haven't had a dog before, maybe this is your first puppy, you’re struggling with adolescence or you are welcoming a new member into the family (human or animal, we welcome all species).
Leigh-Ann can help you to put things in place to minimise the chances of behaviour problems developing, and to manage normal (but not always desirable) dog behaviours. The aim is to set everyone up for success.

Puppy Prep

45 minute Zoom call prior to your puppies arrival (or soon after) covering:

Creating a list of equipment you may need to consider
Looking at the best home set up for you
Introducing training plans for the first few weeks
Discussing appropriate training methods
Planning appropriate socialisation
Written summary and plans provided within 7 days.
30 days of WhatsApp / email advice included .

Approaching Adolescence

45 minute Zoom call when your puppy / teenager is 5-20 months old covering:

What is adolescence?
Why has your dog changed so drastically?
Introducing management
Introducing training plans
Discussing appropriate training methods

Rehoming a Rescue

45 minute Zoom call before, or shortly after, your new dog comes home covering:

How to help your dog decompress
Creating a list of equipment you may need to consider
Looking at the best set up for you
Introducing training plans for the first few weeks
Discussing appropriate training methods
Planning appropriate introductions to your dogs new world

Preparing for your new baby

45 minute Zoom call prior to your baby’s arrival covering:

● Creating a list of equipment you may need to consider
● Looking at the best home set up for you and your dog
● Introducing training plans for before your baby arrives
● General safety advice
● Safe sleep arrangements
● Enrichment
● How to safely introduce

Introducing a new pet to your home

45 minute Zoom call prior to your new pets arrival covering:
● Creating a list of equipment you may need to consider
● How to safely introduce your new pet to your resident pets
● The importance of scent
● Safe spaces for each individual with your home layout
● Extra safety precautions
● Appropriate enrichment for each pet

Gold = Initial call, written report, 30 days of WhatsApp/email advice PLUS two in-person coaching sessions (at 2 and 4 weeks)

Silver = Initial call, written report, 30 days of WhatsApp/email advice PLUS two additional follow up calls (at 2 and 4 weeks)

£200

Bronze = Initial call, written report with 30 days of WhatsApp/email advice.
